What's the difference between AI-only and Audience pricing?
AI-only is a monthly subscription for instant AI scoring — one credit = one creative scored against the engine. Audience studies are pay-as-you-go: each study buys a real first-party panel of 100/200/300 respondents to validate the creative. You can use either alone or both together (the Mixed Score reconciles them).
Do audience studies include the AI test too?
Yes. Every audience tier (Essential / Plus + / Pro) bundles the AI scoring on the same creative at no extra charge. That's how the Mixed Score works — it compares what the AI predicted against what real humans reported.
How does audience pricing scale by volume?
Each tier supports 100 / 200 / 300 respondents. Use the toggle on the audience pricing card to see prices per volume. Per-respondent cost falls as you scale up — Essential is $2.99/respondent at 100, $2.50 at 300.
Can I switch AI subscription plans?
Yes — at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate the difference. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle. No penalty.
What if I run out of monthly AI credits?
Buy a top-up pack — 10/50/100 credits available, no expiry. Or upgrade to the next subscription tier. We never charge overage fees without confirming.
Do annual AI plans save money?
Yes — annual billing saves you up to ~14% versus paying monthly, depending on the plan. Switch from monthly to yearly any time.
Do you offer enterprise contracts?
Yes. For higher monthly AI volumes, custom audience templates and custom AI scoring (see Custom Scoring), API access, SSO, or dedicated researcher support, contact us — typically priced below the per-credit Scale rate or the per-respondent Pro rate.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards via Stripe. Enterprise customers can be invoiced in USD, GBP or EUR with NET 30 terms.
What do AI Ad Studio generations and image edits cost?
They use the same credits as AI tests. A Studio generation costs 2 credits and delivers 3 finished ad images. An image edit — Preview Suggested Changes or your own instructions — costs 1 credit; redesigning an ad into a new format costs 2. Retesting the improved ad is a normal 1-credit test.
Can I subscribe or buy credits in the mobile app?
No. Plans, credit packs and audience studies are bought on the web at app.adtest.ai. The AdTest.AI apps for iPhone and Android are for existing accounts — sign in to run tests and review reports on the go, using the same account, credits and workspaces as the web app.
